Anodyne 2: Return to Dust Mixes 3D and 2D Adventure Styles To Console Audiences

Anodyne 2 has been available on PC for quite a while, but now the game is braving new land as it enters the world of console gaming. The sequel comes from Analgesic Productions and Ratalaika Games and introduces players to a lo-fi adventure. This is a unique quest that combines several game design theories into a unique blend that most audiences are sure to appreciate.

Anodyne 2: Return to Dust is bringing their unique 3D, and 2D graphics to Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch audiences. The game introduces fans toa beautiful yet bizarre world called New Theland, a massive continent that mixes genres and tone in unique ways.

Travel across a beautiful 3D landscape and then shrink into strange 2D dungeons across the map. This is a unique blend of design that boggles conventional standards. Travel a strange world, meet weird people, and save the world from a dangerous Nano Dust.

The Nano Dust is traveling across the land of New Theland and is distorting the desires and emotions of the innocent islanders. You play as Nova, a Nano Cleaner, who travels the island seeking out sick beings and shrinking inside of the bodies with the goal of sucking up the Nano Dust.

This is a thrilling sequel to the original tale that mixes 2D and 3D Zelda aesthetics. This is a unique reimagining of the PS1 era as you travel across 3D cities, valleys, wastelands, and more.

Players will have to jump, drive, and walk across the world in search of Nano Dust. Experience Nova’s thrilling and emotional story as she embraces her role as the savior of New Theland. As you try to save the world, the characters and experiences of this title will quickly put her loyalty to the test as she makes hard decisions in her quest.

You choose where you go, and you can access new territory using magical Cards. When needed, turn into a car and drive around the world as you explore the unique title’s environment.

The game is lush and dreamlike, and there are over 50 songs in the title influenced by countless genres. This is a one-of-a-kind adventure that is truly difficult to describe in words.

The title is appropriate for all ages but does note that the game is best played after the initial release. Anodyne tells a magnificent story, and the sequel builds upon that unique world.

Anodyne 2: Return to Dust is available on Steam and will be launching for console audiences in the near future.
