In December 2020, the Argentinian football club had revealed their plans about the same through a Tweet where they had decided to go on and participate in regional and at local tournaments within Argentina as well. Along with CS:GO, they might also assemble a team for League Of Legends as well.
Boca llega al mundo de los Esports: el club a partir del 2021 va a ser parte de los torneos más importantes de la Argentina y de la región en distintas disciplinas de los deportes electrónicos. 🎮 💫

With the previous acquisition of the roster led by Facundo “minimal” Pereyra, Boca Jrs have finally acquired them as their starting five who will compete under the former’s banner in tournaments across South America.
The roster is as follows:
- Facundo “minimal“ Pereyra
- Vladimir “vlad” Bancalari
- Leonardo “ABM” Acuna
- Rodrigo “ro” Farina
- Eduardo “laser“ Chshekin
Apart from them, Boca’s biggest rivals, River Plate also announced a League of Legends team this year, forming a potentially competitive gaming scene in Argentina. We too witnessed teams like Isrus and 9z compete at a regional tournament in a bid to grab a spot at the Blast Premier Fall Showdown. With the entry of BocaJrs into CSGO, the community might witness.
