Head will roll as Torn Banner Studios gears up for the upcoming Chivalry 2 closed beta. The team is back with a new dev diary featuring gory new footage of the upcoming first-person medieval multiplayer slasher along with the official dates for the upcoming closed beta and the game’s launch on the Epic Games Store.
The closed beta will run from March 26-29 with a higher player count (64) and the ability to throw practically anything that you can get your gauntleted hands on, be it swords, spears, pitchforks, barrels, cart wheels, severed heads, and even chickens. The closed beta will also support cross-platform play between PC and console this time around.
“It’s been eight years since the first game launched,” said Torn Banner. “We always knew that we’re going to come back to Chivalry 2 and we wanted to come back in a way that was going to move the genre itself forward.”
Pre-order Chivalry 2 to get access to the upcoming closed beta. The game officially launches on June 8 exclusively on the Epic Games Store. Also, don’t forget to check out the latest dev diary below to get your fill of blood sprays, decapitations, and pitchforks to the face.
