Indie 3D Voxel MMORPG Cubox Is Coming Soon To Steam

Cubox is an upcoming 3D voxel MMORPG that features a hodge-podge mix of exploring, gathering, building, crafting, open-world PvP, and battle royale arenas with a plethora of monsters and bosses added in to the mix.

“Start your adventer with Cubox a 3D blocky game with open-world that promotes creativity, collaboration and problem-solving in an immersive environment where the only limit is your imagination. [. . .] Build castles with friends,discover new biomes,new monsters and resources.Craft Items and upgrade equipment.”

Players won’t be able to choose classes but they can equip different weapon types to suit their preferred playstyle. One-handed swords allow for quick attacks and lets players equip shields for added defense. Two-handed swords are more powerful but have slower attacks. Bows have average damage but let players pick off targets from afar while rods have the ability to destroy the environment and deal damage AoE damage.

According to indie developer Rafras, the game is inspired by Minecraft, Diablo, Tibia, and Don’t Starve. A release date has yet to be announced but you can now wishlist the game on Steam. Check out what the game has to offer in the video below.
